Teaser Tuesday: Mike Baron’s WHACK JOB

Here’s a sample of an edgy thriller by award-winning comics legend Mike Baron, just released in print and eBook by WordFire Press. I’ve published Mike’s stories in two of my BLOOD LITE anthologies, and I love his visceral style. I think he reads like Quentin Tarantino on paper.

Making Stories Happen: Two Kickstarter Anthologies

I’ve agreed to write a new short story for two new anthologies that are now up as separate Kickstarter projects, WINTER IN THE CITY and CARS, CARDS, AND CARBINES.  Each of these projects has a very cool high concept and a great cast of authors.

Kindle Serials commissioned me to write THE DRAGON BUSINESS, which I blogged about as I produced it during the summer. This is a hilarious fantasy spoof about a group of medieval con men who travel from kingdom to kingdom selling their services as dragonslayers…even though there’s no dragon.  For fans of the Dan Shamble books, you’ll particularly love this.

Must be nice.

Most successful working writers I know have a number of different plates spinning on sticks, and I am spinning with the best of them.
